The food is very authentic, flavourful and amazing! We tried the vegan and vegetarian options and they were too good. The atmosphere was bustling with a very polite and friendly staff! To add on top of that the service was very fast as well! Will be visiting again!

The service was really nice, the lady servicing us was checking up on us and gave my younger siblings a bowl of jellybeans!
Some meals I'd recommend are definitely the red curry!! If you are a kid or someone who isn't really into thai there are prawn options which were inducible, I did not get them on camera.- Meal type

We ordered the Vegetarian set meal for two as a takeaway and were pleasantly surprised with how smashingly nice it all was. Every dish was very well balanced and flavoured, the chefs know what they are doing. Enough for three or four if not famished: two substantial rice's (the rice was nicely heavy not light and fluffy) three currys, large bag of deep-fried vegetables, small dish of small spring rolls etc. If ordering for two ensure you are hungry as you will want to try to finish it all.- Price per person

Small Thai restaurant..the only bad thing id say about this is that it's a really small place your seated very closely together and it was difficult for the serving staff to move around. Other than that cant fault the place. The best Thai food iv ever had...food freshly cooked and so tasty. Doesn't serve alcohol but you can take your own. Staff are helpful and it gets really busy so would book. People were queueing outside to get in..- Parking

When its nice you do it TWICE!I really enjoyed the food at Sukothai in Penzance. I found this place through a simple Google search, i.e., Thai restaurants near me and used Google to give directions. I wanted Pad Thai with medium heat and both the chicken pad thai and beef pad thai didn't disappoint. As an appetizer I had roasted ribs where the meat was ready to fall off the bones. If you like pad thai, or thai food on general I would recommend giving Sukothai a try!- Service

Food was delicious, presented well & was served without much of a wait. Partner doesn’t normally like Thai food but is now converted. Nice decor & obviously popular as restaurant full midweek. Recommended to friends who were equally impressed- would definitely return

Small family owned Thai restaurant. Good service, friendly owners good Thai food. Recommend the Thai Green Curry was pretty well priced as well and very good. Probably worth booking a table in the summer months.

After half a day in Land's End and its less than inspiring food outlets, we wanted to take an interlude before the fireworks display at 10pm.
We are seasoned Thai food lovers, but this is our first time in Penzance, and first time at Sukothai. They were packed crazy at 6pm and there was a 40min wait. Decided to take a chance as we had ample time.
Fortunately, when it came to their food, we found it authentically mouthwatering, one of the best we have tasted.
All dishes ordered -- pad thai, red curry, massaman curry, were good but the stand out one has to be the seafood prawn and squid curry.
Well worth the wait, prices are decent, and their flavours exceeded our expectations. We had an early dinner there .The food is really good especially the tom yum soup 🍲. The staffs were nice too.

Really amazing food. The massaman curry was perfect. Had the coconut steamed rice to add to the flavour. With fish cake to start. A perfect meal.

Food was great. Went for the seafood set meal which was 1st class. Waitress didn't know what fish it was in the curry but she was only young and great service. Would definitely eat here again.
